Home Health Care Aide
Description
Home Health Care Aides help patients with routine healthcare needs, bedside care, and basic nursing procedures in long term care facilities and hospitals. A home health nursing assistant provides the basic health care in a patient's home. Both play a vital role in the health care team. Additionally students are provided the opportunity to use the theory in practical clinical experiences. Students must obtain certification from the Oklahoma State Department of Health to work in most facilities. (Open to Adults only who are currently students at MDTC).
